Formeka Hayslett is an Accounting Manager in the Ceded Reinsurance department for Everest Global

Services, Inc. Formeka brings over 20 years of insurance / reinsurance industry experience. A major

accomplishment which Formeka if proud of is a Quantum initiative she worked on during her time with

QBE. This was a transformation project where she led an offshore initiative, to transition all the Ceded

accounting functions to the Shared Services Team in the Philippines. She then traveled to Manila and

trained the staff on all facets of Ceded Reinsurance accounting. The team successfully went live in

August 2014.

Formeka has an Undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Graduate degree in Accounting & Financial

Management. Formeka is a member of the National African American Insurance Association where she

coaches, and mentor’s students and young professionals (on a local and national level) interested in the

insurance industry. Formeka has a passion for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) and is a

NYC regional representative for her local office. When she is not busy with work, you will find her

volunteering within her community and traveling with her family.
